We had the super exciting opportunity to work on an IPL 23 film for Cultsport India. An insightful client team paired with L&H’s powerhouse minds, we came up with a beautiful film that cult continued to use even after the IPL.
The film needed to work in an IPL context yet be something that stands on it on outside IPL + be a fresh look at ‘sports’ in India + work for thematic sale too!
After considering everything from montages of skateboarding to dance reels … we thought of “pithoo” / seven stones. A game every kid fondly remembers. Our client team had excellent foresight and went all in & committed to the idea as an almost cricket plot (gender inclusive) and ends in pithoo reveal.
